Juanita Holley McClelland, 90, of Dothan, died Sun., Jan. 3, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., today, Tues., Jan. 5, at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel in Dothan with the Rev. Bob Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home, 1302 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan, AL, 36301, or one’s favorite charity.
Mrs. McClelland was a longtime resident of Dothan. She was employed with the First National Bank in Dothan for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Morgan McClelland; four sisters, Mary Proctor, Ethel Mae Walker, Katherine Shannon and Louise Stokes; and two brothers, Robert Holley and Hershel Holley.
Survivors include two sisters, Martha Pierce and Margaret Warren, both of Southport, Fla.; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
