Minnie Meadows

Mrs. Minnie C. Meadows, also known as “Mimmie” by her grandchildren, passed away Wed., Dec. 30, 2009.
Minnie, formerly of Andalusia and Dothan, made her home the last two years in Anniston. She had recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Fri., Jan. 1, 2010, at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Kilpatrick officiated. Music was provided by Gaston Kilpatrick and Mary Reeves.
Pallbearers were Brad Meadows, C. L. Moulton, Jerry Wilson, James Marshall, Mark Nabors and Stephen Abercrombie.
Interment followed in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, James E. and Faye Meadows of Simpsonville, S.C., and Steve C. and Melanie Meadows of Anniston; daughter, Joan M. Moulton of Headland; grandchildren, Brad Meadows, April and Stephen Abercrombie of Simpsonville, S.C., Jennifer Holly and Mark Nabors of Oakwood, Ga., Ashley and James Marshall of Chelsea, Jessica Moulton of Auburn, Charles Moulton of Headland and Allie Grace Meadows of Anniston; and great-grandchild, Tyler Abercrombie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Meadows, and son-in-law, Charles Larry Moulton, and daughter-in-law, Carol Meadows.
