Duane E. Cross, 79, of Andalusia, died Wed., Jan. 27, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., today, Fri., Jan. 29, at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred R. Kelley and the Rev. Fred J. Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church 30 minutes prior to services.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Enzor Cross of Andalusia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy C. and David Williams, Paula Cross Anderson, Mary C. and Chuck Dutton, all of Andalusia, and Leigh C. and Dale Locklier of Auburn; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Cross and Doc Brown of Mobile; his brothers and sisters-in-law, James Underwood and Marie Cross of Gatesville, Texas, Aundre and Elaine Cross of Andalusia, and Aubrey “Butch” and Peggy Cross of Jacksonville, Ala.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughters, Emily Anderson and Ashley Williams; a brother, Andrew Algenon Cross; and a sister, Jenine Cross.
