Ronnie Jerome “Home Team” Comer, 40, left his earthly home for his Heavenly home Jan. 31, 2010.
He was born Jan. 1, 1970, in Andalusia to the late Mr. Ralph J. Comer and Mrs. Joyce W. Goodin. He was the godson of the late Mr. Sonnie Johnson and Mrs. Mary Jean Johnson. He was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Barbara Agee Comer on Dec. 18, 2000.
He was a member of the Blessed Grounds Church of Detroit, Mich., until his death.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph J. Comer, and sister, Nichola R. Comer.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Barbara Comer of Detroit, Mich.; a loving mother and stepfather, Mrs. Joyce W. Goodin and Dr. Eddie P. Goodin of Merced, Ca.; grandfather, the Rev. Willie James Weeden of Andalusia; a stepson, Jerome Comer of Evergreen; two daughters, Shanekia Comer of Lakeland, Fla., and Shay Comer of Andalusia; brothers, Ralph “R.J.” Comer of Wilmington, N.C., Ricky Comer of Elba, Malcomb Harding of Atlanta, Ga., Eddie Paul Goodin II of Tacoma, Wash., Elliot S. Goodin of Tacoma, Wash., and Derrick Wright of Detroit, Mich.; sisters, Yolanda Greene of Lacey, Wash., and Donna Wright of Andalusia; brothers-in-law, John Agee and David Agee of Detroit, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Rita Atkins of Brewton; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
