Preston Morrow

Preston Morrow, 89, of Andalusia, died Sat., Feb. 13, 2010, in the Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services were held Tues., Feb. 16, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Greg Smith officiating. Burial followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Morrow was born July 1, 1920, in Andalusia.
He was co-owner of Walker Electric where he worked for more than 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a World War II veteran who proudly served in the Pacific campaign in the 198th Field Artillery Battalion. He was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church, an avid farmer, hunter and lover of old westerns.
One of eight children, Morrow was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters and four brothers, and his son, Richard Larson.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Jo Walker Morrow of Andalusia; his daughter and son-in-law, Lindy and Roger Morrell of Redondo Beach, Calif.; his daughter-in-law, Jane Larson; his grandchildren, David Wescott Murrell IV, Richard Earl Larson Jr., Karen Larson Copper, Jan Larson Warbington, and James Preston Larson; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Beatrice Johnson; a niece, Janet Gilmer Beste; a nephew, Ariel Walker; and numerous other nieces, nephews and their descendants.
Pallbearers will be Richard Larson Jr., James Preston Larson, Steve Copper, Larry Warbington, Monte Russell, Andrew Urquhart, and John Hogue.
