Wanda Elise Hall Bates, 78, of Andalusia, died Fri., March 12, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services were held Mon., March 15, at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Funches officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Elizabeth and George Page and Jean Bates, all of Andalusia, her sons, Joe Bates Jr., Jeff Bates of Andalusia, and Jamie Bates of Westminster, Co.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brothers, Paul (Hope) Hall of Columbia, S.C., Gene (Virginia) Hall of Prattville, Larry (Sue) Hall of Gantt and Jerry Hall of Georgiana; her sisters, Peggy Sue (Jim) Stecki of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mildred Sutherland of Columbia, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews
Pallbearers were Larry Hall, Jeff Bates, Jamie Bates, Wiley Page, Bret Page and Andrew Page.
Honorary Pallbearers were George Page and T. J. Brooks.
The family requested no flowers, and memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of the charity of your choice.
