Joan Elizabeth Diamond, 62, of Johns Creek, Ga., passed away Wed., March 31, 2010, at her home. She was born in Tampa, Fla.
Survivors include her mother, Inez Mock Diamond; brother and sister-in-law, Lehn and Katrina Diamond of Andalusia; nieces and nephews, Sally and Jason Lunsford and Jamie and Jessica Jackson of Florala; aunts and uncles, Clara and Jim Bowling of Mobile and Mamie Meyers of Montgomery; cousins, Yvonne and Steve Whittingeon of Mobile; other numerous cousins; great-nieces and great-nephews; and some very special friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon L. Diamond; grandparents, James and Nellie Mock and William and Bessie Diamond.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thurs., April 8, at graveside in Bethesda Cemetery in Covington County with the Rev. Berry Wilkerson officiating.
