The Andalusia City Board of Education accepted the retirement resignations of eight employees, effective at the end of May, Monday night. They included:

Addie Simpson, AMS art teacher;

Gary Harper, AMS social studies;

Elizabeth Bradley, AES second grade teacher;

Holly Krudop, AES media specialist;

Gail Mullen, AES LPN;

Patsy Taylor, ACS RN

Barbara Lankford, AES paraprofessional;

Emma Locke, AHS paraprofessional.

The board also approved the hiring of Donofro and Associates Architects, Inc. for designing AHS athletic facilities.
