Air Force Staff Sgt. Clifton N. Stokes has arrived for duty at Osan Air Base, Korea.

Stokes is a structural craftsman assigned to the 51st Fighter Wing.

He has served in the military for eight years.

He is the brother of Brooke Clark of Dahlia Drive in Andalusia.

The staff sergeant is a 2002 graduate of Andalusia High School.

In addition, John D. Clark II has been promoted to the rank of private second class in the U.S. Army National Guard.

Clark is the son of Jon and Robin M. Clark of Riverview Road in Andalusia.

The private graduated in 2008 from Straughn High School.
