TILLMAN EVERIDGE

Tillman Everidge, 86, of Red Level and formerly of Crestview, Fla., passed away on Mon., June 21, 2010, at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp.

He was born in Dorcas, Fla., on May 26, 1924, to Frank and Belle Everidge. He was a carpenter for many, many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Delmus, Porter, Travis and B. F. Everidge; and his sisters, Minnie Hinote, Jewel Smart and Ora Lee Everidge.

Survivors include his sons, Wayne Everidge of Red Level and Kenneth Everidge of Clayton, N.C.: daughters, Karen Vance of Milton, Fla., Judith Christ of Big Lake, Minn., Cynthia Wilson of Elberta and Elizabeth Utt of Ardmore, Okla.; brothers, Obie Everidge and Ted Everidge; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held today, Wed., June 23, at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, Fla., from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

A life’s celebration service will be held on Thurs., June 24, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, Fla.

RUBY HARRIS

Ruby Harris, 88, of Andalusia, died Mon., June 21, 2010, in the Opp hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thurs., June 24, at the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Stewart officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at one hour prior to the service at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Dubose Bennett of River Falls.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Bennett.

ROBERT CLIFTON BRABHAM

Robert Clifton Brabham, 84, of Andalusia, died Sat., June 19, 2010, in Bay Minette.

He was born Dec. 11, 1925, to Robert and Kate Brock Brabham. He served in the Army during World War II and was the principal of Church Street Elementary School until his retirement.

Funeral services were held Mon., June 21, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating and eulogies given by Betty Kleis and Mary Wilson, both former teachers of Church Street Elementary School. The burial followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Special music was provided by John Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Dannie Brabham of Andalusia; his son and daughter-in-law, Shannon C. and Shannon Leigh Brabham of Waynesboro, Miss.; his daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Steve Golden of Goshen; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Haynes and Emily Brabham of Jay, Fla.; and sisters, Jane Waters, Kathryn Anderson of Daleville and Lavon Brown of Enterprise.

Pallbearers were Ricky Jones, Thagard Colvin, Kim Dyess, Barry Clark, John Loflin and Bill Hamiter.
