The Covington County Historical Society will present “Walter O. Merrill and Andalusia’s Historic Connection to the Rose Bowl Game” at 7 p.m., tonight, Thurs., June 24, in the Andalusia City Hall meeting room.

Merrill was an All State football player at Andalusia High School, and played football for the University of Alabama, Brooklyn Dodgers, and Army Air Force.
