Movie Gallery will close its doors today.

A sign posted on the store’s window said the store would close June 29, and another sign is posted counting down the days until the store closes.

The store is liquidating its merchandise and all sales are final.

In mid-May, Movie Gallery announced it was rolling the final credits on all of its stores, including the one in Andalusia.

Earlier in 2010, Movie Gallery filed bankruptcy for the second time in two years, and was in the process of closing many stores.

Local employees were initially told they had between two and 10 weeks before the doors closed.
