GRACE M. ESTEP

Grace M. Estep, 94, died Wed., June 20, 2010, at the Opp Nursing Facility.

She moved to Andalusia in 1950 with her husband, Dr. John H. Estep, who practiced medicine in Andalusia until his retirement in 1980.

A native of South Carolina and graduated at age 18 from Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C., she had lived in Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Mobile prior to moving to Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John H. Estep, and daughters, Margaret Caroline Estep and Joan Elizabeth Estep.

She is survived by two nieces, Ann Walker of Fripp Island, S.C., and Betty Roberts of

Tuscaloosa; and a nephew and his wife, Dean and Betty Richardson of Sparta, N.C.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Fri., July 2, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment in Mobile’s Pine Crest Cemetery will be held at a later date.
