Yard, Maddox to unite

Ms. Emily Henderson Yard of Andalusia and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yard of Opp announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mindy Leigh Yard, to Ryan Jefferson Maddox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Henderson of Mulberry, Fla., and Ms. Sandra Neal of Andalusia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Archie and Rebecca Henderson of Andalusia and the late Mary Louis and Ray Tisdale of Opp.
She is a 2002 graduate of Pleasant Home High School.  She earned her bachelor’s of science degree in psychology from Troy University in 2005 and her master’s of science degree in human resource management from Troy University in 2010.  She is currently employed with CDG Engineers and Associates.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Betty and the late Dez Henderson of Andalusia and the late Gordon and Evelyn Maddox of Andalusia.
He is a 2005 graduate of Pleasant Home High School.  He is currently employed by FedEx.
The wedding will take place at Hopewell Baptist Church in Andalusia on July 17, 2010, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. All family and friends are invited to attend.
