Mary Alice Findley

Mrs. Mary Alice Findley, age 90, of Red Level died in a Pensacola Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wed., July 7, 2010, at Fairmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Findley is survived by three daughters, Martha Findley (Wayne) Hubbard of Montgomery, Patricia Alexander of Crestview, and Aurelia Myers of Payson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her sister, Virga Brooks of Andalusia.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Cook, John Alexander, Lynn Robinson, Eugene Autrey, Chris Myers, Lee Synder, Mike Powell, and Ed Mason.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today, Tues., July 6, at Foreman’s and 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

Joy Ann Patterson Coleman

Mrs. Joy Ann Patterson Coleman, age 63, of Dothan, died Thurs., July 1, 2010, in Red Level. Funeral services were held Sat., July 3, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. P.J. McClung officiating. Interment was in the Flat Rock Cemetery in Conecuh County.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, Jacob Coleman, of Dothan; one son, Andy Coleman of Dothan; and her mother, Mrs. Martha Ann Patterson of Red Level.

Pallbearers were John Skipper, Josh Skipper, Terry Coleman, Rene Coleman, Tommy Myrick and Scott Lewis.

Hubert Walter Gibson

The Rev. Hubert Walter Gibson, age 80, of Opp passed away Friday

in the Opp nursing home.

Rev. Gibson retired after 20 years of military service in the U.S. Navy.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Wed., July 7, at Westview Assembly of God Church in Opp. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Westview Assembly of God Church Building Fund, 103 Grover St., Opp.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Gibson of Opp; daughters, Joni Maddrey of Pensacola, Jody Rodriguez of Jacksonville, Fla., and Josephine Tullo of Ft. Worth, Texas; sons, Walt Barclay of LaGrange, Calif., Joseph Gibson of Memphis, Tenn., and Jimmy Connell of Summerfield, Fla.; his sisters, Winnie Gillett of Tarpon Springs, and Vera Schumacher of Jacksonville, Fla.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and step-grandchildren.

His parents, Dewey And Ruby Gibson, and a sister, Millie Emgee, preceded him in death.
