Showing their support to India

Those at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church are working to raise enough money to completely fund the college fund of an Indian orphan.

Sound daunting? At $700 a year, the church ladies knew they could do it, said Terry Watson.

“The story just touched on my heart, our hearts,” she said.

“We knew we had to do something to help,” she said.

To do that, a yard sale will be held today, Sat, July 10, in the old Flower Basket florist shop on Church Street. Everything is $1, and donations will be accepted.
