There are only two business days left to qualify for the Opp City Board of Education election.
The election, which will be held in August, will consist of an election in District 1, 2 and 4.
The seats open are currently occupied by Dean Morris in District 1; Jennifer Ferguson in District 2; and Gloria Campbell in District 4.
City Clerk Connie Smith said Friday that none of the incumbents have qualified for the race, but T.P. Morgan has qualified in District 2 and William Hines in District 4.
Anyone interested in running for any of the school board seats must be a qualified elector and have lived in the district for at least 90 days on Aug. 24 and must file the appropriate forms and pay the fees associated.
