MARTHA  JO FOWLER  WORLEY

Martha Jo Fowler Worley, 71, a resident of Billingsley, Ala., and formerly of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., died peacefully on Fri., July 16, 2010, after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Mon., July 19, 2010, from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with the Rev. Mark Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Worley was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who devoted her life to the loving care of her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyndle Dave Worley.  She is survived by five children, Belinda (Bobby) Gray, David Worley, Jeff Worley, Dewayne (Teresa) Worley, and Tony (June) Worley; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Irma Jean (Eugene) Barlow; two brothers, Wallace (Mary Evelyn) Fowler and John Frank Fowler, Jr.; several extended family members, and many friends.

FAYE SOWELL COOPER

Mrs. Faye Sowell Cooper, 72, of Andalusia and Pensacola, Fla., passed away Wed., July 14, at her son’s home in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Mon., July 19, 2010, at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.

Survivors include two sons, Marcus Brian Cooper of Birmingham and Ernest William (Bill) Cooper of Pensacola; four grandsons, Damon Brian Cooper, Ryan Adam Cooper, Brady Nicholas Cooper and Zachary Noah Cooper; one granddaughter, Zoie Abbigail Cooper; her mother, Lorena Parsons Hayes of Andalusia; two brothers, James Larry (Geri) Jones of Deatsville, Ala. and Gary Glen (Martha) Hayes of Andalusia; two sisters, Jean Sowell (Ralph) Smith of Pensacola and Bonita Hayes (Ralph) Platner of Kirkwood, N.Y.; a very dear cousin, Virginia Ballard Brawner of Andalusia, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marcus Clayton Sowell; and a grandson, Nicholas Joshua Cooper.

Mrs. Cooper retired from Monsanto in Pensacola after having worked there for 30 years. She split her retirement years between Pensacola, Andalusia and Birmingham.
