SKY LANE LAWSON

Sky Lane Lawson, 33, of Dothan, passed away on Tues., July 20, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Sat., July 24, at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1977, in Houston, Texas, and moved to the Andalusia-Opp area at an early age. He graduated from Andalusia High School in 1996. He has resided in Houston County for the past six years and was employed with Gilland Mitsubishi for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Tammie Lawson; a son, Scout Lane Lawson; daughters, Olivia Jewell Lawson and Stella Rose Lawson; a stepdaughter, Hannah Demello, all of Dothan; a brother, Chase Watson of Andalusia; a sister, Paula Vause of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several aunts and uncles.

ALLIE MAE WALDEN

Allie Mae Walden, 84, of Red Level, passed away Thurs., July 22, 2010, in the Georgiana hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., today, Sat., July 24, at New Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifton Morris officiating and burial following in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the church one-hour prior to services.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Walden, and a son, Charles Walden.

She is survived by one son, three daughters, two brothers and one sister.
