James and Kathy Alridge of Jasper, Fla., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa Sue Harvey, also of Jasper, to Mitchell Ethan Brown, the son of John and Debra Brown, all of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Swilley of Jasper. She graduated Hamilton County High School and is enlisted with the United States Marine Corp.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ernestine Owens and the late Cecil Owens of Andalusia and the late Belle Howell of Calvert, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. William Brown. He graduated from Straughn High School and is enlisted with the United States Marine Corp.

The wedding is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 14, 2010, at Harmony Baptist Church. Invitations will not be sent, and all friends and relatives are invited to attend.
