Andalusians showed Southern hospitality

Recently, my family and I spent several days in Andalusia while our 14-year-old son participated in the Alabama All-Star Baseball Tournament. I must say that Andalusia’s residents certainly reflect the friendly attitude of true Southerners.

The tournament was organized and well-run, despite inclement weather on Sunday. The hotel employees at the Best Western and wait staffs at all of the restaurants were extremely professional and courteous. A special thanks to pharmacist Wayne Hagler at Rite Aid who went beyond duty’s call to assist me.

One can never truly pay back the kindness of strangers, but I hope that anyone from Andalusia should have the same wonderful experience should they visit Wetumpka.
