The city of Andalusia will hold city school board elections for seats in districts 1, 3 and 5 on Tues., Aug. 24.

Candidates are elected to four-year terms. Seats in districts 2 and 4 are up for election in 2012.

In an effort to inform voters, The Star-News recently asked each candidate what they felt the key issues facing the Andalusia City School system are. Answers from the candidates for Districts 1 and 3 were included in Thursday’s print and digital editions.
