The 27th annual Andalusia Gun and Knife Show will be held this weekend at the Kiwanis Building.

South Alabama Gun Club member Mike Jones said the show offers something for everyone from hunters to collectors.

There will be 170 display tables set up, he said.

There’s even 10 to 15 tables for t women.

The show will feature a variety of guns and knives, including the latest accessories such as scopes and carrying cases.

Jones said the show usually draws a large crowd of around 2,000.

“Traditionally, if the weather is extremely uncomfortable or if it’s storming, we’ll have more people,” he said.

Jones said the club uses the proceeds from the show to operate the club’s 20- acre shooting range. Doors will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, and will reopen from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is $5 per person for those over 12.
