Andalusia residents elected one new member to the Andalusia Board of Education today.
In District 1, voters returned incumbent Joe Nix to the board. Nix defeated challenger Joe Armstrong, 135 to 34.
In District 3, current board chairman David Bryant defeated Bob Bush, 43 to 33.
In District 5, David McCalman received 250 votes, while Mark Dooley got 26 votes and Teresa Ward got 35.
