Calling Red Level Tiger alumni from the classes of 1957-1967.

Mark your calendars for Labor Day weekend as classmates celebrate a mega-reunion.

The deadline to RSVP for the high school reunion has been extended to Mon., Aug. 30.

Festivities will kick off Fri., Sept. 3, with attendance at the RLS pep rally at 2:30 p.m. where the 1957 state championship football team and cheerleaders will be honored. Other activities include a school tour, a meet and greet opportunity at Crystal Springs Park at 5 p.m. and attendance at the night’s football game at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s events, which will be held at the town’s new FEMA shelter, will begin at 2 p.m.

About 212 people have responded at this time. Due to the large number of attendees, the Saturday luncheon will be held at the high school cafeteria at 3:15 p.m. After lunch, graduates will meet at the park to “catch up” and enjoy music by Ronnie Kilgore.

Graduates can RSVP to Ann (Owen) Taylor at annowentaylor@live.com or to Gail (Oglesby) Salmon at gsalmon@citlink.net.

Cost is $20 per graduate to help cover reunion expenses.
