The preliminary hearing for the Opp man who has confessed to killi-ng a 4-year-old has been resch-edu-led.

Jo-hn Davis was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing this Wed., Sept. 1. District Judge Frank “Trippy” McGuire rescheduled it for Oct. 7 at the request of both the prosecution and the defense.

Greg Gambril will prosecute for the state; Mark Christiansen and Rod Sylvester have been appointed to defend Davis.
