SARAH M. HICKS DAUGHTERY

Sarah M. Hicks Daugherty, 79, of Montgomery, formerly of Andalusia, passed away Mon., Sept. 6, 2010, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Wed., Sept. 8, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia with the Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating and burial following in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her brothers, Cleveland Hicks of Montgomery, William Robert Hicks of Andalusia, Cecil Roy Hicks of Dade City, Fla., and John Huey Hicks of Weirsdale, Fla.; sisters, Mary Gladys Blocker of the Sanford Community, Annie Merle Castleberry and Wilmer Ellen Smith, both of Montgomery.

WILLIAM MERCER HAM

William Mercer Ham, 86, of Andalusia, died Sept. 7, 2010, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., today, Thurs., Sept. 9, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Cotter officiating and interment following at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Bailey Ham, and son, Rickey D. Ham.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Ham of Andalusia; two daughters, Hazel (Charles) Lambert of Andalusia and Marqueta (Tim) Harris of Red Level; one son, Mickey Gene Ham of Dothan; four grandchildren, Misty Corts, Brandy Puet, Michelle Ray and Mary Madalyn Harris; six great-grandchildren; 10 stepchildren; a large number of step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Totsie (Lawrence) Barton and Catherine Bailey of Andalusia.

Pallbearers will be Brian Norsworthy, Brandon Norsworthy, Tony Wambles, Horace Bailey, Chris Ham and David Banton.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

DAVID ANDREW LAWSON

David Andrew Lawson, 66, died Sun., Sept. 5, 2010, in a Dothan Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Thurs., Sept. 9, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. James Arron officiating and interment following in Kelley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie L. Fisher of Brantley; four grandchildren, Haley Adams, Hunter Adams, Hannah Fisher and John Robert Fisher; and one sister, Alice Gilley of Andalusia.
