In July 2010, six members of the Central Church family, Daniel and Leigh Roberts, Glen and Virginia Huggins, Ann Grantham and Melissa Myers, spent one week in Guatemala in a vision clinic in conjunction with Health Talents International, a ministry of teaching and healing. During the week, 38 cataract surgeries were performed, four pterygiums were removed and numerous persons were taught the gospel.
In addition to Guatemala the Central church minister, Daniel Roberts, spent a week in Belize in March. The Central church has participated in the Belizean ministry for three years and members have also gone on trips to Guyana and Jamaica.
