Opp defeats Geneva

Opp took the lead with a four-yard Myeke’ Boyd run with 6:58 left in the first. Dillan Northey’s kick was good, and the Bobcats were up 7-0.

Opp’s Drew Wilson then scored on a 16-yard pass from Tyler Harrison. The PAT was no good, and the Bobcats were up 13-0.

Dillan Northey then kicked a 22-yard field goal to put the Bobcats ahead 16-0.

Geneva scored on a four-yard touchdown run with 1:43 remaining in the second quarter, and the ‘Cats had a 16-7 lead at the half.

Opp’s Devin Davis scored with 6:58 left in the third quarter on a 34-yard run. To cap the night off, Boyd and Richard Davis scored on runs from 14 and 47 yards, respectively to give the Bobcats, and Northey’s kick was good each time, delivering Opp fans a 37-7 win, their second of the season.
