What is Imam Rauf really saying?

Do any of you remember the old saying ”Never forget lest we regress?” This holds true with several things today.
When I started hearing Imam Rauf saying that America was partly to blame for the 9-11 attack I took notice and realized he said that for a reason.
I went back and did an association search for links concerning the 9-11 attack, the terrorists, the U.S. and other countries and here is what I found.
During the Iran-Contra interrogation of Lt. Col. Oliver North, a certain senator was cross-examining him and asked him If he had purchased a $60,000 home security system recently and he answered “Yes, sir I did.” The senator asked him why and who on earth could he be that afraid of. His reply was “My family and I were threatened by a man named Osama bin Laden, the evilest man on earth.” He then suggested obtaining a group of men to hunt him down and kill him. The senator, although he agreed with North at the time, tried to make light of it by getting a laugh from the audience because he could not pronounce Osama bin Laden’s name correctly. Oh yea, that senator was Al Gore.
In 1986 a terrorist pilot blew up a bus in Israel; was captured, tried, and imprisioned. As part of the agreement with the Palestinians in1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called “political prisioners,” and so this terrorist whose name was Muhammad Alla was set free. He was so grateful that he later flew an American Airlines jetliner plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
I would suggest we all start remembering we are in this together! We are Americans, not just Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Liberals, Etc., Etc .Etc.! What difference is that going to make when we are fighting for our lives!? Our way of life and our freedom!?
