Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments Sept. 24-26, 2010:

• Jeffrey Mixon Yang, 19, for driving under influence and held on $1,000 bond.

• Shane Dwight Nelson, 31, for breaking and entering motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief, and held on $13,000 bond.

• Bobby Hughes, 57, for contempt of court and held without bond.

• Anthony Ervin Hunter, 19, for second-degree attempted possession of marijuana and held on $7,500 bond.

• Marcus Christopher Oliver, 31, for second-degree attempted possession of marijuana and held on $7,500 bond.

• Alberto Guerra, 42, for fugitive from justice and held without bond.

• Melvin Likely, 56, for failure to pay child support.

• Richard Dowell Payne, Jr. 72, for driving under influence and held on $7,500 bond.

• Curtis Gary Owens, 50, for driving under influence and held on $1,000 bond.

• Jamie F. Jackson, 33, for driving under influence and held on a $1,000 bond. (Editor’s note: This is not the Jamie Jackson who is employed as a secretary at Florala High School.)

• Ricky J. Padgett, 34, for public intoxication and held on $300 bond.
