Class 1A powerhouse Kinston dominated Andalusia Tuesday 3-0 in a best out-of-five-series.

Andalusia lost the match 7-25, 22-25, 18-25.

Andalusia’s A.C. Riley led in assists with 42 and added three aces; Ellie Pollock had 17 digs; Megan Pugh had two kills and four blocks; Shi’Amber Townsend contributed with nine digs, six service points, four attacks and six kills; Alison Daniels had four aces and three kills; and Erica Staley had five digs and six service points.

In junior varsity action, Andalusia lost in two games 14-25, 16-25.

Andalusia will travel to play Straughn today. The varsity squad will start at 4 p.m.
