A legendary editorial cartoonist and an optometrist dedicated to improving the vision of Kenyans will be honored this afternoon.

Earlier this year Charles Brooks, who was the first full-time editorial cartoonist in Alabama, and Dr. Ben Roberts, who does medical missionary work in Kenya,  were selected as the recipients of this year’s AHS Outstanding Graduate award.

A reception and ceremony will be held immediately following  Andalusia’s Homecoming parade, which begins at 2 p.m.
