MARTHA LOUISE JONES
Martha Louise Jones, 85, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Oct. 9, 2010, at the Andalusia Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held on Tues., Oct. 12, at the First Baptist Church of Andalusia with Dr. Fred Karthaus and the Rev. Tommy Chesser officiating. Special music was provided by First Baptist Church Glory Singers and her grandson-in-law, Jason Jewell. Interment followed in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her sons, Terry and (Barbara) Jones of Colleyville, Texas, and James (JoAnn) Jones of Andalusia; son-in-law, the Rev. Tommy Chesser of Birmingham; sister, Peggy Harrelson of Rose Hill; brother-in-law, Gillis (Laura Ann) Jones of River Falls; sister-in-law, Juanita Ralls of Brooklyn; grandchildren: Jonathan (Maggie) Chesser, Lindsay Jones, Jessica Jones, Lisa (Joel) Justiss, Terri (Jason) Jewell, Jim Jones and Jennifer Jones; and great-grandchildren, Brown Jones Chesser, Stella Sue Chesser, Tucker Tullous and William Jewell.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Massey Brown Jones; daughter, Martha Sue Jones Chesser; and granddaughter, Laura Tullous.
Pallbearers were David Williams, James Stephens, Butch Oglesby, Lynn Ralls, Grady Lynn Ralls and Glynn Ralls.
MARY LOUISE MORGAN
Mary Louise Morgan, 88, of Red Level, died Sun., Oct. 10, 2010, in the Opp nursing home.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1921, to Thomas Cox and Harley South Cox. She was married to the late Matthew Morgan of Red Level.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m., Wed., Oct. 13, at the Fairmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating and burial following in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church 30 minutes prior to services.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Donald M. Morgan of Andalusia, Thomas and Judy Morgan of Opp and Earl Demond and Sara Morgan of Wing; her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara M. and Roger Patton of Decatur and Lisa M. and Rusty Patterson of Red Level; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Aubrey and Fran Cox of Red Level; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mittie Peters, Mavis and Ronald Taylor and Evon and Wendell Bush, all of Red Level
Pallbearers will be John R. Prestwood, Justin Morgan, Robby Morgan, Brandon Patterson, Jason Morgan, Tommy Morgan and Tracy Morgan.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Fairmount Baptist Church.

WANDA BLACKMON MCBRYDE
Wanda Blackmon McBryde, 72, of Andalusia died Mon., Oct. 11, 2010, in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thurs., Oct. 14, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with Ministers Jason Green and Larry Turman officiating and interment following at Sasser Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Foreman’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glade Merrill McBryde, and parents, Arnold and Odessa Blackmon.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Thompson and Debbie (Jimmy) Greene; grandchildren, Zane Thompson, Jamey Greene, Meredith Greene and Samantha Greene, all of Andalusia; brothers, Royce (Virginia) Blackmon of Glenwwod, Ronnie (June) Blackmon of Brantley and Danny (Myra) Blackmon of Montgomery; sisters, Gail (Dutson) Furr of Cantonment, Fla., Launis (Willie) Dolloff of Lisbon Falls, Maine, Barbara (Alton) Mitchell of Lowndesboro and Patsy (Bobby) Owens of Luverne; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keith Mitchell, Tommy Furr, Darren Blackmon, Daniel Blackmon, John Clark, Tom Ryder and Jimmy Blackmon.

MARY L. WHEELER
Mary L. Wheeler, 96, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Oct. 9, 2010, at the Andalusia Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held at noon on Mon., Oct. 11, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Heath Church of Christ Cemetery. Terry Stewart officiated.
Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Merle (Robert R.) Phillips of Gantt and Pearl Gradeless of Bella Vista, Ariz.; sons, Edmon (Kathy) Wheeler of Milton, Fla., W. Rayford Wheeler of Dothan and Richard D. Wheeler; brother, Homer Lunsford; brother-in-law, Lester (Helen) Wheeler, all of Gantt; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Stanley Zylowck, Brad Waguespack, Robert Phillips, Tommy Nichols, Andrew Oliver and Bobby Worley. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Nichols and Chance Roberts.
