Prescription take back event this Thursday

The Covington County Children’s Policy Council Coalition will sponsor a Take Back Prescription Pills community drug take-back event Thurs., Oct. 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Darby’s Village Pharmacy.

Residents are encouraged to bring all unwanted and expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications for free and safe disposal.

No personal information will be requested and no questions will be asked.

The Bulldog Booster Club will sell concessions and McGruff the Crime Dog will make an appearance.

The CCCPCC is partnering with the Drug Task Force, Sheriff’s Office, APD, WAAO, Darby’s, Drs. Gilbert Holland and Charles Eldridge

Take your unwanted pills to Darby’s Village Pharmacy Thursday.
