Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Crowell of Andalusia and Mr. and Mrs. Kim Anderson of Elba are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Marie Anderson, to Mr. Augha Kyle Padgett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Padgett of Elba.

Miss Anderson is the granddaughter of Ms. Marie Banks of Opp and the late Mr. Winfred Mitchell; Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Anderson of Opp, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Johnson of Elba She is the great granddaughter of Mrs. Bertha Schultz of Opp and the late Ms. Jessie Mitchell; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Pope of Elba.

She is a 2004 honor graduate of Elba High School and attended Troy University majoring in marketing. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Currently, she is employed with Wiregrass Weddings in Elba as production manager.

The prospective groom is a 1993 graduate of Elba High School and attended Troy University. He is now employed with Fisher Tank in Jacksonville, Fla.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Padgett of Elba and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Jones of Enterprise.

The wedding is planned for Sat., Oct. 30, 2010, at Lake Point Lodge in Eufaula. A reception will follow in the Patio Room.
