Some 80 people attended the annual Midway School reunion Sat., Oct. 9. Midway opened in 1939 was forced to close by federal mandate in 1961. Midway is located in the northeastern portion of Covington County and children attended the school from first through sixth grades. The former students, parents, family and other Midway residents attended the event and enjoyed a covered dish lunch.
