CHRIS CARBER

Chris Carber, 44, of Gainsville, Ga., passed away on Sat., Oct. 14, 2010.

Funeral services will be held today, Tues., Oct. 19, at 11:30 a.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Smithart officiating. Special music will be provided by Debbie Butts, and interment will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Carber.; two sons, Aaron Carber and Ian Carber, all of Gainsville, Ga.; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Madelene Smithart of Andalusia.

Serving as pallbearers will be Archie McManus, Kevin McManus, Ian Carber, Billy Smithart Jr., Wilbur Mitchell and Wayne Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Smithart, Carlos Smithart and Robert Smithart.

FRANK HARRELSON

Frank Harrelson, 76, formerly of Gantt, died Sat., Oct. 16, 2010, at his residence in Alabaster.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Tues., Oct. 19, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Sharpe and the Rev. J.D. Davis officiating, and burial following at Macedonia Cemetery in Rose Hill. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Ray Harrelson of Alabaster; his sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Melany Harrelson of Pleasant Grove and Greg Harrelson of Alabaster; his daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Don Perry of Daphne; five grandchildren, Blake Perry, Rebekah Hamill, Kelsey Perry, Emily Harrelson and Jacob Harrelson.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Harrelson, Don Perry, Blake Perry, Wyatt Sasser, Todd Sasser and Daron Bulger.
