Johnson, Palmer set date

Dr. Joe and Karen Johnson of Paxton, Fla., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dr. Heather Alisch Johnson, D.O.M., to Mr. David Morgan Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Palmer of Lawrenceville, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Art and Estelle Felgenhauer of Crestview, Fla., and Reba Johnson of Lowery and the late Tank Johnson.

She holds a masters degree from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin; graduated cum laude with a bachelors of business administration from the University of Montevallo, and holds an associate of arts degree from Enterprise State. She is a doctor of oriental medicine who practices acupuncture and owns an herbal pharmacy in Paxton, Fla., and online.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. David G. Palmer of Jacksonville, Fla., Ms. Ruth Palmer of Tallahassee, Fla., Ms. Sally Murrell of Montgomery and the late Mr. Henry Huguley of Sprague, Ala.

He is a sales representative for SG Processing and Merchant Services, a live sound engineer and a graphic artist.

A spring wedding is planned.
