Today is the perfect day to get good deals for that special Community Christmas Angel.

Families have registered more than 600 children, along their clothing sizes and a toy requests, and that information has been written on an angel card. Angels can be found for adoption at area businesses.

A suggested amount of $50 should be spent on each adopted angel. The packages with angel card are to be dropped off on Fri., Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sat., Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. until noon, and Sun., Dec. 5 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Kiwanis Building on the South Bypass.

The Andalusia Community Christmas Party is scheduled for Fri., Dec. 17, at the Kiwanis Building, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
