DOROTHY MILLER BAKER

Dorothy Miller Baker, 84, of the Straughn Community, passed away Tues., Jan. 4, 2011, in the local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Fri., Jan. 7, at Antioch Congregational Church with the Rev. Derwood Cleland officiating and interment following at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, son, Thomas (Sandra) Baker; daughter, Rebecca (Anthony H.) Brown, all of Andalusia; brother, Byron Miller of Augusta, Ga.; sisters, Betty (Curtis) Baker and Sara McLendon, both of Andalusia; grandchildren, Monty Kirkland, David Kirkland, Tony (Flilica) Kirkland, Thomas (Traci) Baker, Amanda (Shann) Varner and

Katie (Matt) Hammon; 11 great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Baker, and brothers, Cecil Miller, Raymond Miller, Harold Miller, Don Miller and Ferris Miller.
