Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments Jan. 24, 2011:

• Derek Marler, 30, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• Reginald Scott, 57, for violation of probation and held without bond.

• Justin Teague, 18, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• Larry Jernigan, 56, for driving under the influence and second-degree possession of marijuana and held on a $15,000 bond.

• Karla Cook, 38, for three counts of negotiating a worthless instrument and was placed on hold for another agency and held without bond.

• Cecilia Byrd, 25, for second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on a $1,000 bond.
