DOUGLAS D. FINDLEY

Douglas D. Findley, 56, of Andalusia passed away unexpectedly Thurs., Feb. 24, 2011, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Mon., Feb. 28, at West Highland Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Joel Calhoun officiating. Burial followed in the New Home Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his mother, Voncille Findley of Mobile; father, Harlos Leach of Mobile; daughter, Delores (Johnny) Douglas of Andalusia; three brothers, Donny Findley of Perdido Key, Fla., Bobby Findley of Paxton, Fla., and Gene Leach of Arkansas; three sisters, Lynn Harrelson of Sardis, Lorie Bailey of Andalusia and Lynn Wyatt of Birmingham; and two grandchildren, Courtney Douglas and Caylee Douglas.

Serving as pallbearers were Michael Harrelson Jr., Derek Findley, Jason Findley, Lamar Lawson, Steve Russell and Darrel Denny.

JIMMY BROGDEN

Jimmy Brogden, 59 of Andalusia passed away Sun., Feb. 27, 2011, in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wed., March 2, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Ward officiating and special music provided by Jeffrey Mitchell. . Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services Wednesday.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie Brogden; two sons and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Casey Brogden, all of Andalusia, and Patrick Thomas of Pensacola, Fla.; daughters and son-in-law, Angie Queen and Brittany and Luke Williams, all of Andalusia; brother and sister-in-law, Carey and Sue Brogden of Greenville; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Ted Ferrell of Ft. Deposit; and three grandchildren, Tanner James Brogden, Gavin Trent Brogden and Landrie Blair Kelley.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gerald Queen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Palmer, Steve Palmer, Dale Pike, Robby Weaver Jr. Mitchell, Levon Mitchell, Luke Williams and Carey Brogden.

GEORGE F. PHILLIPS

George F. Phillips, 89, of Andalusia, died Fri., Feb. 25, 2011, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services were held Mon., Feb. 28, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Glen Vaughn and the Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiated the service.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Brenda Phillips of Andalusia; his daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Kenneth Fore of Andalusia; grandchildren, Jason and Carrie Fore and Jonathan Fore; several step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, Ella Fore; and a special friend, Martha Brightwell.

Pallbearers were Jason Fore, Jonathan Fore, Chris, Fore, Tim Fore, Craig Fore and Derek Fore.

DARRELL JEFFCOAT

Darrell Jeffcoat, 48, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., Feb. 28, 2011, in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home.
