The Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club is moving its 2nd annual Three Notch Market Arts and Crafts Festival to Springdale, and won’t charge admission this year.

The AJWC formally announced the change yesterday, made possible by a partnership agreement with the City of Andalusia. The city will present entertainment for the festival. Local singers, bands, dancers and characters from Meredith’s Miracles’ Cookies with Characters will be highlighted during the event, which will conclude with an afternoon concert by the Rochelle Harper Band.

Harper is an Andalusia native and AHS grad who has taken her original and cover music to the Gulf Coast, and who has performed at Montgomery’s Jubilee City Fest, and Mobile’s Bayfest.

Three Notch Market is set for Sat., May 7. Other activities during the day will include an early morning 5K and Fun Run.

AJWC is currently accepting applications from vendors, artists and craftsmen. For more information and to download vendor applications, visit the Web site at http://ajwcthreenotchmarket.webs.com, or call 334-222-2030.

The AJWC is a non-profit organization that has been raising money for more than 36 years, providing financial support for schools, charities and other organizations.
