Boy, that’s a good book!

Judd Jones and Britton Goldsmith were among the first to come through the door at W. S. Harlan’s parent night at the book fair.

There were festivities galore around the county as area schools celebrated “Read Across America” in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Throughout this week, students at W.S. Harlan Elementary School were given the opportunity visit the Scholastic Book Fair, which was held in the school’s library. On Tuesday, both students and parents had the chance to peruse the selection after the school’s PTO meeting.

The group was greeted by school librarian Alisha Odom, and parents had the opportunity to make book donations to the teachers.
