Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weant of Dozier announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Morgan Elizabeth, to Mr. David Alan Sanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sanders of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Manner and the late Mr. James Manner of Andalusia and Mrs. Horace Weant and the late Mr. Horace Weant of Dozier. She is a 2007 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2010 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in a biomedical sciences. She is a member of the Gamma Delta chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She is currently employed with Auburn Pediatric Dentistry in Auburn.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Sanders of the Boston Community and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gorum of Red Level. He is a 2003 graduate of Pleasant Home School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. He earned a master’s degree in secondary English education from Auburn University in Montgomery in 2010. He is currently employed by Macon East Montgomery Academy as a Spanish teacher and coach.

The wedding will take place on April 2, 2011. Invitations will be sent.
