Opp Mayor H.D. Edgar said Monday night that “several” Korean companies will be in Opp this week looking at the nearly completed spec building.

Work on the $1 million, 40,000-square foot spec building is nearing completion.

Earlier this month, Edgar announced the city was in need of a tenant for the space.

“(The companies) are also looking at other locations,” Edgar said.

The building is located inside Opp’s Industrial Park, and is expected to be complete this month.
