BILLY JOE LYNCH

Billy Joe Lynch, 71, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., March 25, 2011, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sun., March 27, at Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. John Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the River Falls

Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.

Survivors include, his wife, Dolores Lynch of Andalusia; daughters and son-in-laws, Sara Jo and Keith Bazzle of Wetumpka, Brenda Faye and Steven Taylor, Donna and Roger Davis and Debbie Venn, all of Prattville; brothers, Bob and Joyce Lynch of River Falls and Roy Lynch of Bells, Tenn.; sister, Linda and Ronnie Carter of Kentucky; step-daughter, Judy George of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Dede and Gary Cohn Wesche; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Brooks, Terry Carter, Jerry Carter, Jeff Deal, Larry White and Keith Lynch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Thomason, Ham Curry.

GEORGE RAY BARNETT

George Ray Barnett, 87, of the Carolina Community, passed away Wed., March 23, 2011, at his residence.

A memorial service were held Fri., March 25, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Dean officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Barnett, of the Carolina Community; son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Sonia Barnett of Alexander City; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Lynn Pressley, Teresa and Rickey Lassiter and June and Donald Baker, all of Andalusia; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Donna Barnett of Troy; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Slyner Odom of Andalusia; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the charity of one’s choice.
