PEGGY HARRELSON
Peggy Harrelson went home to be the Lord peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Fri., March 25, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., March 30, at the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Terry Stewart officiating. Visitation is tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

She was a life long resident of Rose Hill. She graduated from Straughn High School in 1958. After graduation, she went to work for Southeast Alabama Gas District, where she worked for several years. After her work there, she went to work with the Commercial Bank, now Regions Bank, until her retirement.

She was a devoted caregiver to her family, especially her mother and two sisters, Willette Williams and Louise Jones, who preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of Shady Grove Church of Christ in the Valley of Shiloh community.
She is survived by her nephews, Terry (Barbara) Jones of Ft. Worth, Texas, David (Janet) Williams of Magnolia Springs and James L. Jones of Andalusia; great nephews, Jonathan (Maggie) Chesser of Birmingham and Jim Jones of Andalusia; great nieces, Lindsay and Jessica Jones of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Jennifer and Terri Jones of Andalusia; and a special cousin, Gyndol Mitchell of Rose Hill.

EDNA EARLE COLQUETT JACKSON
Edna Earle Colquett Jackson, 92, of Andalusia, died Sat., March 26, 2011, in the Andalusia Manor nursing facility.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., today, March 29, at the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Sallans officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Tony Jackson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; a granddaughter, Tanya J. (Phillip) Porter of Jacksonville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Matthew Porter and Mark Porter; and one sister, Mrs. Doolie Hogg of Dozier.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Faulkner, Joel Colquett, Robert Colquett, James Hogg and Mickey Pitts.

RUBY LOWE HARTIN
Ruby Lowe Hartin, 95, of Loango, died Fri., March 25, 2011, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services were held Sun., March 27, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. P.J. McClung officiating and burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Special music was provided by the Pressly Memorial Presbyterian Choir.

Survivors include her sons, Charles (Jean) Hartin and Byron (Faye) Hartin; her daughter, Betty Hartin McClelland, all of Loango; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Opal Reeves of Opp and Maudine Hart of New Brockton; and her brother, Winford “Pete” Lowe of Loango.
Pallberers were David Hartin, David Hartin II, Dale Hartin, Zane Maloy, Devin Maloy, Cody Philen, Randy McLelland, Jordan McLelland, Josh McLelland and David McLelland.

DR. CARL W. WILSON
Dr. Carl W. Wilson, 76, of Evergreen, passed away at his home on Sun., March 27, 2011.

Funeral services will be announced later by Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen.
Born March 25, 1935, in Butler County, Dr. Wilson served the community as a veterinarian.

He is survived by his wife, Selma Francis Wilson; sons, Mike (Rhonda) Wilson, all of Evergreen, and Tim (Wendy) Wilson of Atlanta; daughter, Joy Wilson of Evergreen; brothers, Calving “Pete” Wilson of Molino, Fla., and Rickey Wilson of Atmore; sisters, Glenda Harris of Cantonment, Fla., and Gloria Holcombe of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
