Red Level students took breaks from classes Friday to fly kites for cancer.
The event, sponsored by the RLS JAG students, raised more than $300 for Covington County Relay for Life.
Students had the opportunity to pre-order box kites, diamond kites and other kites and then fly them at different points during the day.
JAG sponsor Scott Donaldson said the organization sold 120 kites and 36 T-shirts.
